Council of Yukon First Nations Grand Chief Peter Johnston welcomes federal New Democratic Party Leader Jagmeet Singh for an epic discussion about northern and national priorities, and what it means to hold the balance of power in Ottawa. Singh also shares some powerful truths about his youth and his personal journey. Tahmoh Penikett is on the show to talk about the acting industry, some of his favourite roles and some new projects ahead. Also this episode, Grand Chief welcomes Bobbi Rose Koe to talk about her Canadian River Heritage Award, CBC Yukon's Dave White stops by to talk about the top stories of 2021, John Glynn Morris introduces the "Yukon Story" project, and Ethan Lavallee shares his stories following the return of an amazing YFN Wildfire crew that travelled to British Columbia to be part of the flood relief effort in the lower mainland.
Part I: Jagmeet's Journey: Sharing His Truth
Grand Chief Peter Johnston connects with Leader of the federal New Democratic Party Jagmeet Singh to talk about northern and national priorities and efforts to keep Truth and Reconciliation on track in Ottawa. Singh also shares his own truth, and offers new insight into his remarkable journey and the obstacles he's overcome along the way.

Part II: Koe Reflects on Those Who Came Before
Grand Chief Peter Johnston connects with Bobbi Rose Koe, a proud Teetl'it Gwich'in citizen and winner of the Canadian River Heritage Award to talk about her important work to protect and preserve the Peel Watershed. To Bobbi Rose, receiving a national award was not about her, but provided an opportunity to reflect on so many who came before – those who worked so hard to protect the wilderness and share their knowledge of the land with new generations.

Part IV: Tahmoh Penikett's Still a Man on a Mission
Grand Chief Peter Johnston welcomes White River First Nation citizen Tahmoh Penikett about the state of the acting industry and his epic rise from being the son of a Premier to a cast member on Battlestar Galactica. Tahmoh reflects on a lifetime of experiences across the entertainment spectrum, and hints at his upcoming appearance in the new Netflix series "Devil in Ohio."

Part V: YFN Wildfire Crew Mobilizes BC Flood Relief
Grand Chief Peter Johnston welcomes Ethan Lavallee, a Yukon First Nations Wildfire crew member to the show to talk about the team's recent trip to lower mainland British Columbia where they provided frontline assistance communities hit hard by once-in-a-century floods. Lavallee shares his experience, praises the crew and talks about a remarkable year of fires and floods, along with the importance of emergency preparedness planning.

Part VI: So What Story Do Yukoners Want to Tell?
Grand Chief Peter Johnston connects with John Glynn Morris, co-founder and President of Yukonstruct, to talk about the "Yukon Story" project, which asks all Yukoners to reflect on one question, "what is our story?" The project aims to help improve understanding of the people who live in the territory today to help foster new perspective for those who are curious about what Yukon has to offer. "If our story inspires you, we'd love if you were part of our journey!"
