Part I: Streicker: Upgrading the Public Lands Act
Grand Chief Peter Johnston connects with John Streicker, Minister of Community Services to talk about the Government of Yukon's plans to revisit the Yukon Public Lands Act, and wants to connect with Yukoners to discuss how public land is managed. Streicker says the main goal of the upgrade is to replace two existing pieces of legislation with one and he wants to ensure the new act reflects the Final Agreements and aligns with land claims and self-government implementation.

Part II: Boom Time: Da Daghay Development Corp
Grand Chief Peter Johnston talks shop with Ben Asquith, CEO of Da Daghay Development Corporation (DDDC), the business arm of Ta’an Kwäch’än Council. The latest Statistics Canada data reveals the magnitude of Yukon’s population boom, and the immediate need for housing, but as demand spikes so has the cost of pretty much everything. Asquith knows the opportunity and the challenges as DDDC gears up for what could be a record construction season ahead.

Part III: Yukon Youth Summit: Powerful Voices
Grand Chief Peter Johnston is joined by Cheyenne Bradley, a Kwanlin Dün First Nation citizen and Co-Coordinator of this year's Yukon Youth Summit to talk about this innovative new event, scheduled for April 19-23. Bradley explains the vision and the progress being made to turn powerful ideas into meaningful solutions for the next generation of Yukoners.

Part IV: YFN Wildfire: Floods, Fires and Warriors
Grand Chief Peter Johnston welcomes Chad Thomas, CEO of YFN Wildfire, back to the show for the latest news from the crews as they prepare for another season of floods and fires in Yukon and beyond. With plans to employ an additional 20 youth this year, and with the announcement of 10 Indigenous youth graduating from the first-ever Warrior Program last week, Thomas clearly has a lot to be proud of.

Shadelle talks about the significant work under way to advance youth language programming, justice initiatives, youth culture camps, the need for more caregivers, available supports for those who struggle with addictions, plus CYFN job opportunities and much more.

Grand Chief Peter Johnston welcomes Premier Sandy Silver back to the show to talk about the 2022 territorial budget and the Government of Yukon's plan for the economy, education, health care and the environment in a post-COVID reality. The Premier points to new investments in housing, schools, climate change solutions and supports for businesses and communities across the territory. And with the Liberals now reaching the midway point of the Confidence and Supply Agreement with the NDP, Silver speaks to what's been achieved and what's ahead for his minority government.
