Part III: Leslie Brown: Yukon U, A New "Becoming"

Grand Chief Peter Johnston welcomes the newly appointed President of Yukon University, Dr. Leslie Brown, to talk about her upcoming installation atop the North's first and only university. As Yukon sees some reprieve from the pandemic, Dr. Brown embraces an organic approach to moving the University forward. She discusses the origins of "Becoming" – Yukon U's recently released strategic plan – and knows that staying connected with Yukon communities will be key to delivering on the vision of the Yukon Native Brotherhood in the months and years ahead.

Part IV: Mayor Cabott Talks Capital Growing Pains

Grand Chief Peter Johnston welcomes Whitehorse Mayor Laura Cabott for an update on a wide range of Capital priorities including housing, infrastructure, emergency readiness and the City's relationship with Kwanlin Dün First Nation and Ta'an Kwäch'än Council. With Whitehorse now the fastest growing city in Canada, Mayor Cabott talks about the positive relationships and progress she's seen over the first six months of her term, but is the first to admit that to keep pace with this level of growth definitely won't be a walk in the park for City Hall.

Along with being one the most decorated players in NHL history, Trottier shows why his Hall of Fame credentials go well beyond the ice and with the possibility of more Indigenous NHL Alumni Tour events in the future he continues to emphasize the importance of education and building a strong foundation for life's journey.
