Here's a great way to show appreciation for the kindness and courage you see in your community every day – Nominate a Community VIP!

This season, Rock the Talk is inviting everyone to nominate and celebrate Yukon's Community VIPs – those Yukoners who have been making a real difference in your community during this unprecedented COVID-19 crisis.

Nominate a volunteer, a stranger, a friend, a frontline worker, an individual, a group, an elder or a youth – any member of your community who has been working hard to help others stay strong and stay safe during such a difficult time. We'll be mentioning Community VIPs on the air and on our website, and we're entering everyone's name in a draw at the end of the season! Together, let's celebrate Yukon's Community VIPs!

How Do I Nominate Someone? It's Easy!

Nominate a local youth who is delivering groceries to elders, a nurse who is helping families cope with a loss, a teacher who is showing extra care for students, or maybe it's just someone you know goes out of their way to make sure a friend or loved one is just doing ok.

To submit your nomination simply fill out the form on this page and click the "Submit" button. Your VIP nominee might be mentioned on the air or posted on rockthetalk.vip. All VIPs and all those who nominate VIPs (that's you!) will be included in a Community VIP prize draw at the end of the season as part of our Season 5 Community VIP Celebrations!
